Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Ibile Hub (“Ibile Hub”, “we”, “us”): our games, the Ibile Hub app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or hold an Ibile Hub account, and able to enter a binding agreement. When you sign up you confirm that you are 18 or over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.
Your account
- You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it. Keep access to that inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You may hold one account. Choose a display name and avatar that aren't offensive, misleading or someone else's.
- You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@ibile.games if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend, restrict or close accounts that break these Terms, that we reasonably believe are being misused, or where the law requires it.
Fair play & acceptable use
- Don't cheat: no bots, scripts, collusion, multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or tampering with games, results or the app.
- Don't manipulate ratings or leaderboards, for example by arranging results or deliberately losing to a friend.
- Don't abuse the economy, including farming rewards, referral or gifting schemes, or trading Cowries or items for money outside the app.
- Don't harass, threaten or impersonate other players, or send unlawful, hateful or sexual content in messages, names or avatars.
- Don't attempt to access, disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, except as the law expressly allows.
Game results are decided by our game servers. We may review matches, void results, reset ratings, remove rewards or items obtained unfairly, and take the account action described above.
Games, ratings & saved games
Ibile Hub offers games of skill and social play. Online matches are played on our game servers, and ranked matches update a per-game rating. Ratings, leaderboards, achievements and match history are part of the game and don't represent any monetary value. Saved online games are kept until they are finished, resigned or expire; we can't guarantee that an interrupted game can always be restored.
Coins, Gems & Cowries
- Coins are bought with naira through a top-up. They are used in the app, for example to buy certain items or tournament tickets, or to convert into Gems.
- Gems come only from converting Coins, and are used for cosmetic items.
- Cowries are earned by playing: daily rewards, missions, wins, milestones and referrals. They can't be bought. You can spend them in the store and gift them to friends, within the daily gift limit shown in the app.
Coins, Gems, Cowries and every item in the store are a limited, personal, revocable licence to use features inside Ibile Hub. They are not money, have no cash value, and can't be withdrawn, cashed out, refunded for cash or exchanged for anything outside the app. Apart from gifting Cowries to friends in the app, they can't be sold or transferred. Ibile Hub does not offer cash prizes, and no game, match or tournament pays out money. We may change prices, rewards and what items do, and we may correct balances that were credited in error.
Purchases & refunds
- Top-ups are charged in naira and processed by Paystack, a licensed payment processor, by card, bank transfer or USSD. We never see or store your full card number.
- The price and the number of Coins you'll receive are shown before you pay. Coins are credited once the processor confirms the payment.
- Top-ups and spending may be limited by the responsible-play settings you choose. While you're on a break you can't top up or spend.
- Completed purchases of Coins and virtual items are final, except where the law requires otherwise, or where a charge failed, was duplicated or didn't credit your account. In those cases contact us with your payment reference and we will investigate and, where appropriate, credit your Coins or refund the charge.
- If a payment is refunded or reversed (including a chargeback), we will remove the Coins it credited, and may restrict the account if that leaves a negative position.
Friends, messages & gifts
You can add friends, message them and send them Cowries. Only friends can message you or receive your gifts. Gifts are final once sent. Your display name, avatar, ratings and game statistics are visible to other players on leaderboards and your public profile.
Responsible play
You can set a spending limit, turn on a daily time reminder, or take a break from 7 to 30 days in the app's responsible-play settings. Tightening a setting takes effect immediately; loosening one takes effect after 24 hours. A break can't be cancelled or shortened once started. See our responsible-play page.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion takes effect immediately, is permanent, signs you out on every device, and forfeits any Coins, Gems, Cowries and items remaining on the account. They are not refunded. We may suspend or close your account if these Terms are broken or where we're required to. Terms that by their nature should survive, such as those on virtual items, liability and governing law, continue to apply.
Intellectual property
The Service and its content, including branding, software, art and audio, belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own enjoyment. Classic traditional games are part of shared culture; our particular implementation, presentation and brand are not. If you upload a photo as your avatar, you confirm you have the right to use it and let us display it to other players.
Changes to the Service
We are continually improving Ibile Hub. We may add, change or remove games, features, items and rewards, and we may pause the Service for maintenance.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it reliable and fair, but we don't guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device or network.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of virtual items or progress, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Nigeria, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there. Please contact us first. Most problems can be sorted out quickly.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll post the new version here and update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email about significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
